Writing Assessment in Y2

These sessions will support Year 2 teachers in understanding and using the writing assessment process in 2017-18.In both sessions there will be opportunities to moderate as a whole group to ensure consistency and in smaller groups, where delegates will be able to annotate and take away the writing portfolios they assess with colleagues.Advice and support with planning to address next steps and develop the evidence base will be provided.Although not specifically focusing on subject knowledge (see Meeting English Expectations in Y1/2 for this) there will be lots of opportunities to ask questions, seek clarification and address any emerging issues.
