If your outdoor provision is an area for development, then why not book on this one day training event. Helen will share effective practice and provision in the outdoors to engage and motivate children, along with supporting the development of key skills.

Course Objectives:

To consider the importance of the outdoor learning space and why being outdoors offers special and unique learning opportunities

To explore the power of outdoor learning and the range of appropriate learning experiences that can be provided in the outdoor continuous provision

To share examples of high-quality provision and consider how outdoor resources can be organised in order to support independent learning opportunities

To discuss how outdoor provision supports children's learning and development across all areas of the curriculum, including PSED, English and Maths

To consider the role of the adult (outdoors) in supporting and extending learning

To evaluate current practice and provision and identify next steps in potential development and the impact on teaching and learning.
