This session will focus on how to support children to record their findings when working scientifically and how to make cross-curricular links with science. This will support development in standard 2 (considering the skills that children need in order to develop as independent investigators) and Standard 3 (understanding the 5 main types of scientific enquiry and the skills needed for children to record and report their findings). The main aims:
- Develop understanding of content and progression through the National Curriculum, focusing on working scientifically
- Understand a range of recording methods
- Consider and trial focused recording
- Explore cross-curricular links
